THE INSTITUTE OF CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS OF INDIA
The journey of Vapi Branch of ICAI started as Vapi CPE chapter in the year 2005. The Continues increasing of students and members has lead to the idea of having owned established, well furnished & well equipped branch for the benefit of students and members.
With these strong visions, faith and generous support from institute and members, Vapi branch of WIRC of ICAI was formally notified w.e.f from 01.12.2009 and inaugurated by CA. Uttam Prakash Agrawal President of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. The grand inaugural function was held at tulip, Fortune Galaxy, Vapi.
The first managing committee nominated for the Vapi Branch consisted of CA. Jay Prakash Sethiya as founder Chariman, CA. Jignesh Vasani as Vice Chariman, CA. Giriraj B. Laddha as Treasurer, CA. Hitesh Patel as Secretary and CA. Prakash Chordia & CA. Deepak Desai as official members.
The basic aim of the branch is to serve the students and chartered accountants residing in this area and even the nearby areas. Branch takes care of the members, students & society at large by organizing seminars, conferences, lectures, etc round the year.
Branch has well equipped library with latest publications from ICAI, ICAI Study material both for Members & Students, ICAI Practice manuals for students and many more for the benefit of members and students. A reading room for students in which study was carried out by students throughout day and night for ICAI exams.
Vapi Branch has its own premises of 4383.00 square feet at 3rd floor, Yamuna Complex, Near Gokul Vihar, N H No 8, Vapi Yamuna Complex, Vapi. The branch has total member’s strength of 200 & student’s strength of about 800. Vapi Branch has its geographical boundaries from Dahanu to Billimora including two Union Territories Daman and Dadra Nagar & Haveli.
Branch has well set administrative office for its office work and office assistance given to members as relating to Institute matters. administrator office has the responsibility of ensuring that the administrative activities within an organization run efficiently, by providing structure to other employees throughout the organization.
Vapi branch has its own IT Lab with a seating capacity of 30 students. The ITT training center was inaugurated by Mrs Kapur ICAI on 15th December 2011 result of which those students don't have to go out far for such ITT course.
